Guided Tour climbing the Eiffel Tower to the 2. level, 3. level optional, Duration 2 hours, Language English.
Begin your tour near the base of the Eiffel Tower, where your expert guide will give you an introduction to the structure. From here, walk with your guide to the ticket entrance of the Eiffel Tower where you’ll have your first opportunity for a close-up look at the monument while we arrange your tickets.
This comprehensive tour is typically scheduled to last for 2 hours, though wait times at security checks can sometimes increase the tour duration. Rest assured that these lines will move much quicker than the line for the elevator! If there is a wait, your guide will use this time to explain the fascinating history of the Tower’s creation.
As you climb the steps to the first level, you will marvel as the City of Light emerges before your eyes and your guide shares the fascinating background of the architectural wonder that made Gustave Eiffel famous. On the first level, which is not regularly included on standard elevator tours, you will have time to take pictures or walk on the 188 ft (57 m) high glass floor.
Your guide will then lead you up the steps again, to witness more incredible views on the way to the 2nd level observation deck. Here, you'll be able to take in more of the city's most iconic landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, and Notre Dame while enjoying your guide's insightful and entertaining commentary.
The guiding part of the tour ends on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Once on the second floor clients have free time to go up to the third floor. Please note there is a line for the elevator to the summit. Optional lift ticket to the summit if selected at the booking stage. You can choose to take the stairs or the elevator back to the ground floor to continue your Parisian adventure!
