The Highlights
Experience the majesty of Aurora Borealis in Iceland on this 3-hour Northern Lights tour from Reykjavik. When darkness falls, travel deep into rural Iceland and admire sweeping views over the snowy wilderness. Gaze upward into the skies and keep watch for sightings of the Northern Lights — widely considered among the world’s most fascinating natural attractions. Snap the spectacular light show on camera and hear handy photography tips from your guide.Tour includes tripod rental, live guidance, in bus audio guide with 10 languages, free star map and round-trip transport from Reykjavik. The Northern Lights are truly a magical sight to behold. However, for the Northern Lights to be seen, conditions have to be ideal, with a dark but clear sky, and we don´t go out unless the forecast is favourable.
On this tour, we also try and pinpoint some of the best-known stars and constellations visible in the winter sky. The guides are specially trained for these tours and will gladly offer useful tips on how to best capture the fickle Northern Lights on camera. You also get free use of camera tripods and astronomical binoculars should you need one.
Our new fleet of buses are equipped with modern comforts such as a USB charger and WiFi connected computer tablets in each seat that include a GPS Sensitive In-Bus Audio Guide, available in ten languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin) and German.
