The map will suggest routes for you, based on time, art styles and artists, ensuring you get the best experience.- The ticket for admission to the Louvre gives priority access via the Passage Richelieu or the Galerie du Carrousel.
- Languages: Audioguides available in: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. Clients have to leave a deposit of 32,00 to collect the audio guide. According to the French law, a Passport or an ID cannot be accepted.
- Children up to 17 years and EU citizen aged 18 - 25 have free access, just the costs for the audioguide apply. To gain the free access you need to proceed to the ticket counter. Upon presentation of a valid ID you will receive a free admission ticket. In case you want to avoid any queuings we can only recommend to purchase an adult ticket.
- On the first Saturday of each month, the museum is also open from 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. and admission is free for all visitors.
- It is strongly recommanded not to bring suitcases and luggages to the museum. Only luggages not exceeding 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm will be accepted. Extra delay may be caused by security checks at the entrance.
